Jane Lowrey-Christian, The Author of eight books, lives in North Missouri with her Husband, Harold. They enjoy visiting their Family and singing together at Country Music in the area. Jane was raised on a farm, along with two brothers, living a lot like the Amish do now, with no modern conveniences, and walking a mile and a quarter to a one room school on dirt roads, in winter.
She was a farmer’s wife for forty-five years, an Abstractor for ten years, served as County Clerk and County Commissioner, elected offices, in Mercer County Missouri, where her five children were raised. Her first book, “Budgie and Sissy’s Adventure”, is an Autobiography, written from the viewpoint of the Author as a young girl growing up in the 1930s during the great depression and drought.
Needing to leave her family with how it was “growing up during that period,” was her inspiration to start writing. A series of seven Children’s fantasy, full color books and Illustrated by the author was her second venture, after a stroke. All can be viewed by visiting her web-site: Jane Lowrey-Christian.com
