Robert Striker a retired ex-military man, whom in the middle of questioning his life, is approached by Margaret Peterson a beautiful, intelligent woman. Worried and frightened, she asked him to help solve the mystery of an ominous letter from her missing sister and a threatening phone call from a mysterious man. During his investigation Robert uncovers a conspiracy by desperate men trying to retrieve a black box that was stolen from their boss. As a romance blossoms between the two, the box and its contents will put both Robert and Margaret’s life’s in jeopardy and cost many others their lives. About the Author
Michael Wayne (born 1951) writes stories of mystery/adventure, fairytales and poetry. Michael Wayne was born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1951; His father was a home builder/contractor and his mother an office manager/secretary. After his parent’s premature deaths, Michael married and then enlisted in the United States Army. After seven years of service and the berth of his two beautiful daughters, he left the military and went to work for an oil service company. After 26 years with the company he retired and began to write. In 2008 his publish he first story, “An Angel’s Faith” and in 2009 he published his second book, “Memories a Crime of the Heart” both published by Xlibris Publishing.
