About the Book
Included in this collection are celebrations of everyday wonders from sunrises to hummingbirds. As in our lives, where there is some sadness, there is also abundant joy. It is my hope that the poems within these pages will leave you with the same warm glow with which they were written.
About the Author
Marilyn Snethen Clark earned her BS degree from Texas Tech and her MA degree from the University of Colorado. After retiring from a career as a Mathematics teacher, she has directed her attentions to writing. With her two sisters, she coauthored a blended memoir, “Outside the Fence: Stories of an Army Officer’s Kids and WWII POW Camps”. She has loved and written poetry for most of her life. Ralph Clark earned his BAAD degree from Texas Tech. After serving in the US Navy as a staff artist, he studied illustration at The Art Center School. He received his MA at University of Northern Colorado. He works in oils, watercolor, sculpture, stained glass and pottery. He taught art at Denver’s Abraham Lincoln High School for many years before retiring. Today they make their home in the Colorado mountains, where they enjoy observing the beauties of nature.
