About the Author
Fidel Angel Santiago has a doctoral degree from Columbia University. The author has been a professor at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York since 1994, after his retirement from The Federal Aviation Administration. He has published his doctoral dissertation, "The Training of Air Traffic Controllers: A Case Study," his memoirs in two volumes, "Recollections of A New York Puerto Rican," and The Human Element in Action." The author served in The U. S. Navy as a radioman with "Fleet Air Wing 10" in The South Pacific during World War II. After the war, he was employed as an "Air Traffic Controller," and "A Training Specialist" with The Federal Aviation Administration.
