About the Book
This is a story of racial hatred and bigotry of frightening proportions. It is fast-paced and told without frills, humorous at times and often very shocking" --Ogo Ogbata, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. * * * * * "Your characters are very rich. Your plots and storylines are quite dynamic. Sometimes I would get overwhelmed..." --John D. Holland. * * * * * "This is a soul-searching book. It should be read by anyone whose life/existence has been touched by the festival of imaginations of live and let live" --Dr. Yemi D. Ogunyemi. * * * * * "Abakwue's work as usual is commendable. He is certainly a rising star of remarkable proportions" --Abiodun Shobowale, CEO and Founder Global African Independent Network, (G.A.I.N). * * * * * * * * * * A fourteen-year-old black boy went to visit his grand mother in Arkansas. He met a young white woman who was coming out from a church service. He greeted her--but the white 'lady' took his greeting wrongly. She accused the fourteen-year-old black boy of what he did not do. To punish him, the members of the Church Under Christ decided to lynch the fourteen-year-old black boy. Yes, they did lynch him. They doused his body with gasoline and set him ablaze. And he went through a very painful death. The racial killing resurrected the partially-buried racial question in America, all to a global level. Indeed, the murder pitched the boy's father---a decorated Colonel in the United States Army against the most-powerful man in the land. The great hypocrisies in religion, political epistle, such as 'democracy', and the true image of the United States of America, were revealed for the whole world to observe and judge.
