About the Author

Anthony Courtney, a native of Muskegon, Michigan grew up and attended High School in Rochester, New York; He’s second oldest of five children. He enlisted in the military, January 1987. He received a B.S. in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, May 2001. He attended and graduated from Officers Candidate School, December 2001. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, February 2004-2005. Iraq was the site of his inspiration for this book. Anthony retired as a Captain from the US Army; July 2007 with over 20 years of service. He has been twice married and is the father to five children.
