About the Book

A curious little fellow brings readers on an amusing trip of discovery in Tami Carr Pineda’s Little Eyes. Inspired with her admiration for nature and passion for discovery, Carr Pineda creates a curious and delightful character who witnesses the world for the first time.

Little Eyes is truly an explorer. Armed with his small peepers and insatiable interest, he sets off to explore his surroundings, bringing him closer to nature’s creatures. Along the way, he meets strange insects, furry animals, croaking high jumpers, and so much more. However, at the end of his journey, his greatest discovery awaits. What could it possibly be?

With Little Eyes’ newfound self-awareness and purpose in life, the strange creatures he meets along the way can now be called friends. Each day brings new discoveries and young readers are welcome to join him as he finds who may be hiding on each page.

Filled with a delicate palette of water colored images, this book is a perfect way to let children appreciate the beauty of the natural world

About the Author

At a very early age, her parents instilled in her the admiration of nature and the joy of discovery. Her mom took her and her brother on outings to find bugs and creatures hiding under leaves in the thickets and farm lands close to their hone…and when able, her dad would accompany them for longer trips…his specialty was training over logs, rocks, old boards and things to find whatever has made their home in that place. From that time on, continuing in the tradition, she loves to look for and discover those things that most people would consider ordinary, or, just pass by. She hopes to re-instill in this generation, the love of nature, and to pause a little longer, to discover all there is. Where there’s a place, there will be awe and wonder…and when there’s a pause….recognition of the creators majesty.
