About the Author

I was born in Chicago, Illinois at Jackson Park Hospital, 87th Stoney Island St. in 1964 to Maurice Kirby Sr. and Joan Kirby. I started drawing at the age of 9 years old. I attended John M. Smith Grammar School and graduated from 8th grade in 1979. Westinghouse High School graduated in 1982, attended Malcolm X College, and graduated in 1987 AA-Degree in Business Administration. I created Little “TEE and ERA” in 2006. I always had a passion for drawing cartoon characters even in grammar school. After finishing my work at my desk, my teacher would ask me, “Are you finished?” I would say, NO! And I would start drawing my stick figures. Then I started drawing the Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny, and the other Looney Tunes until I created my own.
