About the Book

‘Alecner’ is a science fiction space saga narrated by a member of the race called the Unusuals. His name is BARRY. The Unusuals can steer the direction that mankind is driving along. BARRY’s charges are the new inhabitants on the planets that orbit the star Alpha Centauri. Now as the newly elected Chancellor Riley Sinclaire chooses the next ubiquitous computer voice, we come to realize that among the finalists is a young lady from Alecner. He originally sought to destroy the planet Alecner because of its seedy drug culture, but now thinks the better of it, after having just met Eden. Follow the lives of these individuals as they maneuver through deceit and treachery…because as BARRY knows, they represent a microcosm of life.

About the Author

Cynthia J. Cordell is a Filipino-American author who believed diligently in persistence as the key to completing this debut novel. She added a sprinkle of this, and a dash of that, to turn her interest in computer technology into the primary factor that propelled this body of work forward. Her awe and wonderment for the recent computer advances were well represented here as she recreated computer awareness in the newly relocated inhabitants on the planets orbiting the star Alpha Centauri…starting them off with the basic ‘cubic square memory space.’
