About the Book

It all goes down at the shop. Well at least that‘s the thinking of Tashelle Jeahns a talented hairstylist at one of the busiest salons in south Florida. TaShelle thinks that the drama around her doesn’t affect her but when a single event turns into a chain of downward spiraling events, Tashelle has no choice but to step back and realize that she is no longer an observer of the “shop gossip” but she is the gossip.

About the Author

Raised in the hard streets of South Florida by a single mother of five, Sarahca found her niche after entering a local poetry contest for the NAACP. After winning the local competition and advancing to the finals Sarahca discovered her gift to make people see what she saw. In her first novel Sarahca shows her skills as a mature writer, capturing the streets with her savvy word play and straight from the hood lingo that’s sure to turn pages. Sarahca brings you into her world of fictional characters, comical stance, and realer than life story lines. As a hairstylist, Sarahca has inundated with secrets, gossip, and personal problems of her clients and co-workers, all while standing behind her styling chair. With this wealth of information, she used her literary wits to write her first novel; From Behind This Chair. Sarahca currently resides in the Northwest region referred to as the Florida panhandle with her two daughters where she continues to explore her depth and love for writing.
