About the Book

This book is a resource for single parents. The book gives biblical standards by which we are to live and how to overcome the devil in this situation. We overcome through the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev.12:11). God gave me these guidelines and instructed me to write a book to help others and to encourage single parents not to give up because God is with them inspite of natural circumstances. We have to follow God’s way of doing things not the world’s way. The book is not meant to be lengthy but as a refreshing, user friendly resource. As single parents we can become overwhelmed because it is not an easy task. Available resources are needed to help you make it through successfully and to maintain your dignity, integrity and appropriate self esteem because you are fearfully and wonderfully made and accepted by God.

I had to trust God to provide the basic human needs for my son and me because I was the only parent in the household. Although I worked, my income was not enough to meet all of our needs. I had to rely upon God for direction and help. As I developed a closer relationship with God, I gained wisdom, understanding and more knowledge about how to survive with my son. My son is now an adult and he has earned a Masters of Science Degree. God gave us the victory.
