About the Book
Tales of Two Forefathers is a call to the current generation to take interest and value in knowing the struggles endured by foremothers and forefathers in their family. The author takes you on a journey through a series of stories from two elders in her family. These elders share engaging fi rst hand experiences about life through their own eyes during an era of history plagued by racism and segregation.
About the Author
Sanaa J. Talibah (born Jeanece Lyles) is a native of Florida. The author’s fi rst and last name means “artist seeking knowledge/truth.” She is a graduate of the University of North Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English (Magna Cum Laude) with a minor in Philosophy. In addition to being an author/ writer, Talibah is a visual artist who has shown work in several museums and galleries. She has also facilitated painting/mixed media workshops in Florida and New Orleans and constantly seeks opportunities to share her work with a broad audience.
