About the Book

This book of poems is inspirational yet conveys the struggles Andy faced in everyday life. Since suffering his traumatic brain injury and loss of vision, Andy was still able to realize that his strong faith and love for God helped him to cope

About the Author

Andy was born on November 14, 1979. He grew up in a small town, Yorkana, PA. He graduated from Eastern York High School in 1998. He served 4 years in the Navy, stationed in San Diego, Ca. He was in communications and was a search and rescue swimmer aboard the USS Rentz. In December 2003, Andy suffered a fall down a flight of stairs. He spent 6 weeks in a coma. When he awoke it was discovered he had lost all his vision. Over the next 7 years Andy made great progress. He regained tunnel vision in one eye and was working on being independent again. On March 18, 2011, Andy passed away unexpectedly from a seizure.
