About the Author

Dr. Penny Jennings is an internationally recognized Motivational Speaker and expert on mentoring. She has met with Presidents, Prime Ministers, CEO’s, and general audiences at home and abroad regarding the benefits of mentoring. She is a CEO, writer, and Professor. She is The MENTOR! Dr. Jennings is Founder of A.C.T., Inc. – Adults Caring for Teens, a non-profit organization based in New York. She founded the organization to provide quality mentoring programs for at-risk youth. Dr. Jennings designs mentoring programs for government agencies, corporations, learning institutions, and community/faith based organizations. Dr. Jennings earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Management and Economics, a Masters Degree in Social Policy, and a Doctorate Degree in Law and Policy from Northeastern University, in Boston Mass. Dr. Penny has received numerous awards for her work in mentoring. Most notably she received a proclamation from the New York State Senate, and was named “New York State Woman of Distinction”.
