About the Author

Phyllis J. Neuberger has had a writing career in advertising, fashion, public relations and journalism. She worked for many years as a fashion director and public relations director for a major Chicago retailer. She has been a by-line writer for the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Chicago’s Lerner Newspaper Group, and the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel. Currently she is on the staff of The Pelican where she profiles volunteers and area businesses every week
