About the Author

About the author, Sandy I am a California girl, born and raised. I was born in Pasadena, grew up in Glendora and moved to Huntington Beach in 1985. I’ve always had a great love for animals, especially cats. In September of 2010, I adopted a 5 month old red haired kitten. His name is Opie Taylor Bogert. The following year, I adopted a red headed female and named her Daisy. After seeing how much my friends enjoyed the comical pictures of Opie on my Facebook page, I decided to create his own profile. And from there, the idea for this book was born.
