About the Book

Over seventy years ago, I began having animals around me at our farm, constantly. Those experiences have made me laugh, smile and cry and I recounted them here to share the memories they created. Are all these stories completely true? If accuracy is so important to you, why don’t you try to play detective to find out? Good luck discovering that! And so what if I used a few moments of poetic license? Seriously hang onto your hats, ‘cause we’re going to have surprises and adventures galore! ALL ABOARD?

Hello, I am “Dr.Sam.” I grew up on our family farm in Virginia. He is a retired family physician with five children, ten grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.
