R.D. Levy was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1936. He attended public school in Boston and Brookline, MA, and Boston University. After two years in the U.S. Army, he worked as a taxi driver, private tutor, union negotiator and most recently as resident director of The Original Theatre, a non-profit theatre company in Boston. He currently resides in Brookline, MA
