About the Author

Sam Reno was first introduced to the world of poetry by his paternal Grandmother at a very young and impressionable age. She specialized in religious poetry, but it was the magic of the rhythm and rhyme that he found most interesting and fascinating. After compiling a book of short stories Sam turned his talents to the increased writing of poetry. To Sam a poem was just an opportunity to tell a short/brief story, compress it even more, and add rhythm and rhyme [and extra meaning] through the melodic tempo and word-artistry of poetry. Some of his poems are based on actual events, deeply felt feelings or agonizing emotions, and others are just a product of an active (or overactive) imagination.
