About the Book
In February 1969, while attending the City College of New York, I began my teaching career as a student teacher at Benjamin Franklin High School. Except for a brief three year hiatus, over forty-two years I would serve as Teacher of Mathematics at John Jay High School, Assistant Principal, Supervision - Mathematics, at Haaren and Park West High Schools, and Adjunct Lecturer, at the Borough of Manhattan Community College. This memoir of my extraordinary career in education relates in great detail some of the wonderful moments I have experienced, and a few of the most disappointing. Walking with the Angels, My Career in Education introduces the reader to the talented and dedicated professionals I have encountered along the way who have played such key roles in my life. Please join me in this amazing journey.
