Everyone has dreams and ambitions. Everyone needs encouragement. Some children receive all they need in order to succeed in life from family, friends, and other acquaintances, while other children are left to fend for themselves without much assistance. In the case of Little Santos, although he had the love of his family, there were many obstacles in his academic life, which were getting in the way of him becoming a productive member of society. It took spiritual guidance and an act of self-motivation in order for Little Santos to overcome all the challenges he faced throughout his life. When Little Santos began to live by faith, life’s challenges didn’t seem impossible to defeat any longer.

About the Author

He was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1988 and came from a humble family with strong religious beliefs and family values. At the age of three, his family moved to San Benito, Texas, where he resides to this day. Throughout his elementary, middle, and high school years, he met many challenges. He was labeled with a learning disability and placed in a special education program, where he faced many trials and tribulations. He almost lost all hope of having a successful life. At the age of eighteen, he decided that in order to ensure his success in life, he would enter the fire academy, and he completed the program in 2008 at the age of nineteen. He married Elizabeth Ann Espinoza in 2013 and became a father to Ozias Isaiah in 2015. At this time, he does not only have one career as he is also a sales manager for a well-known company. He decided to write his first book, called Little Santos “Against All Odds,” to inspire children all over the world and encourage them to work hard and never give up on their dreams.
