First Cain was ashamed because his sacrifice was rejected, then he became very depressed and this is not just that his sacrifice was rejected but that his brother’s sacrifice was accepted, so God was still in the practice of accepting sacrifices but not his. Then he became very WROTH with God
he became steadily overtaken by rage until he was completely c o n s u m e d by the agents of anger and rage until they disrepaired his mind and brought his soul to a place of complete declension. He had given in to things he was created to boss. He was now like the flame of his sacrifice, blown about into diverse direction by the winds of anger and rage
Every human is a product of what we allow stay in our subconciousness. We become better for it if we allow ourselves find the path of the light which shows us our part in our problem, or worst for it if we fail to find any faults in us to the problems we have, then we get depressed and end up very angry with everything and everyone connected to the problem we perceive to find ourselves
Cain knew he didn’t completely give up to the required standard as he should have, and even if he hadn’t known before this time yet as his God started to speak with him, his inner most being would have started to paint him the true picture of the matter. In God’s voice was the persuasive power that compels the heart with great love to look again and see its role in its problems, if he hadn’t seen his fault before, he should now as they conversed see it.
This is all propaganda by God to openly declare that Abel my younger brother is more accepted than me, “yes” now I get it. It’s all a farce to show I am lesser than Abel. That’s why Abel left me alone claiming it was for me to meditate and get even with God but while in actual fact he went away to laugh and mock me. Now it was Abel’s fault. He had blocked his hearing to the very reason why his offering was rejected and decided to place the blame on another and not himself.
The longer we ruminate about what has made us irascible, and shedding it in a negative light, the more “good reasons” and justifications for being angry we can invent. Brooding fuels the flames of anger. God wanted him to forgive himself and then also accept his forgiveness too so that he can move on from the experience of the not honored sacrifice and see the set back as an experience that would make him better and not bitter. As individuals often times in life we have experiences that breaks us down, undermines our potentials and even sometime put us in positions were it looks as if we are going to lose our minds. Some of this experience leaves us depressed, discouraged, disenchanted, and disenfranchised. It drags us through the lowest ebbs of our existence and sometimes the embarrassment and shame such events brings makes some of us despair of life itself. Taking a careful analysis of how we got to where we are at the time, we can sometimes find these failures traceable to the faults of someone close, as such we become fully and increasingly aware of the role such person or group of persons have played in putting us into the problems we are in
God takes the risk of being accused of neglect by the very objects of his love to see that they grow into full maturity and understand how to handle responsibility. But by the miracle of divine grace, people can be lifted into lives of usefulness. Despite feeling despised, forsaken, and utterly discouraged; they may appear stoical and stolid. But under the ministration of the Holy Spirit, the stupidity that makes man’s uplifting appear so hopeless will pass away. The dull, clouded mind will awake. The slave of Sin will be set free. Vice will disappear, and ignorance will be overcome
God does not force the will of his creatures. He cannot accept worship that is not willingly and intelligently given. Unlike Sin that exerts subtle influence founded upon a blind submission to gain control of the spirit of man. God knows that the warfare against self is the greatest battle that will be fought. So he demands the yielding of self, surrendering all to the will of God.
Every act of discipline provokes the mind or body as it doesn’t like being pushed beyond its comfort zone. But if achievements must be real, then discipline must be a part of living. God doesn’t want an unbridled group of people who neither understand predestination, nor can differentiate between the transitions from privilege to purpose or from predestination to ordination as should become of the possessors of the Earth. True freedom is release from all prejudice, moral conflicts and agitating passions. This is where God wants us to be.
