About the Book

Zandrax had found himself a cave to hide in, safe from dragon detection where he can practice his new magic—magic that dragons cannot detect. What does he plan on doing with it? Only the Gods know. Charidan is the High King; his father is dead. His entire mission in life is to place castles in the new lands that are opening up and seeing that kings are placed in them. Since he is busy in the Holy of Holies atop the Pelingre castle roof, he brings in his son, Bragan, to rule the kingdom. Bragan finds a unique way to control the noisy crowds that must see him to settle disputes and anything else that comes up. No matter where problems creep up, his three uncles—Darton, Waldon, and Jovian—along with Adric and Leander, always turn up for him to settle it. Dragonriders are still being killed by hired assassins, hired by Zandrax. Drastic measures must be used to get rid of those assassins. However, it is important to get the twenty-two carefully selected overkings and queens in place in the new kingdoms. And they need colonists, and it has to be done without assassins. This is the new heritage of all the people in the Lands of Remgeldon. Zandrax has to be defeated. How? Can Lord Darius’s twins do it? And what will be the drastic results?

About the Author

Florence Reid attended BBI, Bible Baptist Institute, night school, for three years while still in high school, then attended Cedarville University, but didn’t finish college. Instead Florence went home and married William Reid, whom she met in church. They had 24 good years together before he went to meet his Heavenly Father. They have 9 children, 21 grandchildren, and as of this writing, 14 great-grandchildren. In the course of her life, Florence taught Sunday School preteens, taught Bible Clubs in three different school after hours, played the piano at church, besides raising 9 children, and outings with preteens, with her children along. Florence loves to read scifi, mysteries, love stories, history, and intrigue, besides the Bible. She started writing when in her late 30’s, then spent time rewriting and making them better. For hobbies she sews, embroiders, creates doilies and snowflakes, and knits, and occasionally paints outdoor scenes.
