The Mystery of Francois Fournier Captain Raymond Ellis tried desperately to reach Fournier’s Island after he was wounded and his ship was hijacked by the pirate Louis Lefevre. About the Author

Although he was writing in high school, Jacky Joe Parnell began to take his writing more seriously while attending Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Later, after graduating from the University of Arkansas and for the next thirty-two years, he taught in the public school system, the Department of Mental Health, and the Department of Social Services, where he retired in 2008. Since that time, he has devoted his time to his writing and music.
