About the Book

This book contains a story of a dog named Sophie; an eight-year-old female bichon frise with glamorous good looks and a charming personality. This little “powder puff” of a dog is extremely intelligent and responds almost as if she is human. In the community where she resides, Sophie loves everybody, and everybody loves her.

About the Author

The author, Edward “Skip” Biron, was born and raised in New England in the 1930s and 1940s. Upon graduation from high school in 1948, he enlisted in the US Navy, where he served a hitch as a radioman during the Korean Conflict. He retired after being employed for nearly forty years by the old Bell System at Western Electric, Bell Laboratories, and AT&T. Skip now lives in an independent retirement community in New Hampshire where he met and “fell in love” with a cute little white dog named Sophie. This is his second nonfiction book; the first is Skip’s Legacy.
