About the Book

This is a story of a lonely girl who finds solace in expressing herself through writing poetry. The poems reflect how she feels at the time and how she views life. Some of the poetry is uplifting while others are seemingly dark. But the purpose of this book is to implement one thing—there’s always hope

About the Author

Paige Backers is a twenty-one-year old dreamer who’s been struggling with depression since the age of fourteen. But she’s always had faith that things are in God’s hands. Her depression shook her faith a little but never hindered it. She’s an everyday clumsy, goofy girl who never stopped dreaming. 

Music, faith, and talking about it have helped her tremendously. Right now, she lives single in Houston, Texas, where she was born and raised. Guess what, she’s still believing and living her dreams. All she wants is to let the world know it’s okay not to be.
