About the Author

Cynthia Jurilla Cordell was born in the Philippines and is a Filipino-American author. She penned her novel “Alecner” in the year 2010. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1975 and has resided in the Southern California region ever since. She credits her long bouts of reading time for the creativity she came up with to write her novel. One short story in this collection involves an artificial life form named Argus. It serves as a third-party entity that is like a friend to the main character. It creates an idea spark for something bigger and grander than what it started with – perhaps it will find itself in a forthcoming novel.
