About the Book
In the Land of Wugginville is a fable about achieving contentment and happiness by taking the focus off oneself. The story is based on two feline siblings, Cherokee and Chester, who have a very different outlook on how life should be lived. The felines take a journey and meet up with some interesting characters in the forest to reach the marvelous land of Wugginville. However, Cherokee has a lot to learn before venturing into Wugginville. This is a modern-day tale that may help children realize where true happiness can always be found.
About the Author
Annamaria Venezia Ruffino has been a teacher for over 20 years with degrees in psychology and elementary education. Along with teaching academics, Anna’s passion is to enlighten children on the importance of how taking the focus off oneself can be a transforming experience; one that is needed in today’s “me” society. She believes in the power of kindness and positivity. Anna has two grown sons and lives at home with her cats, Cherokee and Chester. This book is dedicated to my sons, Nicholas and Jamie, my inspiration for everything.
