About the Author
Tom Bevan is a retired electronics engineer living in the heart of the French countryside in the Limousin region of France. He lives with his wife and two small dogs and enjoys the peace and tranquility of the rural area. Algernon was created for his daughter Cerys as a bedtime story. He came home one day after work bringing with him a large poster of a tiger, by a well known petrol company. Upon seeing this Cerys asked what the tiger's name was. A few moments thought and "Algernon" was the reply and, because the tiger was leaping across an expanse of snow he added "Snow Tiger". Thus was Algernon born. Upon looking up the definition of the name we discovered that Algernon meant one who has whiskers, very apt!!!
