About the Book

God gave me the gift to write poetry a long time ago. In fact, when He gives me a poem, He is talking to me first and then He wants me to share what I have learned. These poems are about real-life struggles. Although some may seem harsh, they are the truth. Jesus is a doctor and people can’t get well until after they have chosen Him as their permanent physician. The enemy has more patience than we do, and he will wait 10-20 years to take you, if the keeper does not keep you. Also, many people think that what they are doing is right and they simply don’t know it’s wrong, until someone tells them. Through poetry, God has given me the ability to show His people His truth about themselves as well as the God that can deliver. DON’T FOOL YOURSELF, YOU CAN ONLY CAP SIN WITH A KEEPING GOD.

About the Author

Born and raise Palatka, Florida, Rose graduated from Palatka High School in 1982 then worked for Georgia Pacific Pulp and Paper Mill. Afterwards, Rose graduated with a Certificate in Accounting Operations from St. Augustine Vo-Technical College. She later became an administrative assistant at Putnam-Clay-Flagler, E.O.C. which is a non-profit organization, where she also held another position assisting low income families with applications for (LIHEAP) low income energy assistance program for seven years. In 2009, Rose graduated from Superior Training School in St Augustine, FL. as a CNA. Raise up at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Frederick T. Demps is the Pastor. Presently, she is a member of New Saint Paul COGIC where Elder Jarvis F. Wright is the Pastor. She is now pursuing an AA Degree in Addiction Counseling, at St. Johns River State College in Palatka. GOD IS HER PASSION, POETRY IS HER FASHION AND HER WAY OF EXPRESSION
