About the Book

I’m a very young snow person who is brave as can be, For my parents and I have crossed a wide sea. “It cannot be possible,” I’m sure you’ll declare, “For snow people to move, much less go anywhere!” But I’ll tell you our story. Then I know you’ll agree, That a family of snow people can cross a vast sea.

About the Author

LORRAINE D. GUIDRY was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She married and had five children. Widowed at a young age, she raised her children as a single mother. She was an elementary and middle school teacher. Her love of writing poetry and children’s books is evident in this wonderful story, The Journey of the Snow People. Mrs. Guidry passed away in 2011, following a brief illness.
