The author, Lisa Chaneyfield, spares no details as she explains each graphic part of her life as a drug addict, a prostitute, and a prisoner. She also tells of her story how she overcame betrayal, a broken heart, and unforgiveness. She came to the knowledge that there is a balm in Gilead and a light at the end of the tunnel. When Lisa thought that she would not make it and felt like giving up, she experienced a love like no other—the love of Jesus Christ. She goes into details of her process of life transformation and healing. As she reflects on each situation, you can easily see how the hand of God was on her, guiding and protecting her. About the Author

Lisa Chaneyfield was born and raised in New York City. She is a loving wife, mother of six and grandmother of Four. Two granddaughters and two grandsons whom she loves very much. Elder Lisa was formerly the president of the Let's Talk women's Ministry Of First Calvary Baptist Church where she attended since she was young. Which was birth out of a desire to share her story and give women an avenue to express themselves and their struggles. Elder Lisa is currently very active in her local church where she is one of the leaders of virtuous women of hope women's ministry. Where she counsel hurting women, it is her desire to share her story to encourage those that are hurting.
