About the Book

When Desiree’s beloved younger brother Saad dies in the Twin Towers’ destruction on September 11, 2001, not as a terrorist but as a student in America, she is inconsolable. Her friend Carolyn takes her to grief counseling. As the months go by, she wonders why her older brother does not seek revenge to avenge Saad. About the Author

Author Virginia Gayl Rodman Jefferson Salazar sat down in 2001 and wrote four books, one a year for four years: Gone (2001), California Singles (2002). The Illegal (2004), and Holy Terror (2003).
