About the Book

Rose of a Different Mind is my journey through life, as I put pen to paper. It is a collection of poems, stories, and true-to-life experiences. Join me as I share childhood memories. Watch young love battle the odds, weather the storms, and enjoy the sweet sunshine. Witness the love of a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Enjoy nature, the gift only God creates. The cover and illustrations are a whimsical account of my written words. Because I’ve always felt I was different, thus the title. These writings are my deepest feelings. In a word, they are my heart, revealed. It is a testimony of God’s guidance, love, and protection on my earthly trek through this life. May God bless each one who reads this book. About the Author

Rose Christie has poems published in Many Voices, Many Lands and in Treasured Poems of America. She studied through Longridge Writers Group, completed writing classes through her work programs, and has been awarded certificates for poetry. She has worked on numerous church newsletters and assignments throughout the years. Rose of a Different Mind is a collection oh her life-long writings. Writing is her passion, her communication, her therapy, and her "input" to the world around her. These are her thoughts, her experiences, and her wishes, to share.
