About the Book

There comes a time in every young man’s life when something pulls at him from inside to “step out” where either others have not yet gone before – or to follow in the footsteps of those who chose to be men when they themselves did. Boo Hammonds came upon such a day at the age of 10, learning that age is not what makes a man a man – but the decisions one makes as a male (and continues to make). So when his body was still in childhood years, he himself became a “man”. He chose to not accept less than what he actually needed in life. This is an answered prayer turned into a story which I believe in my heart helps men to be who children need them to be.

About the Author

My mother was pregnant with me when my parents lived in Chicago, IL. My Dad was a Bookworm who had won an award at his High School for having read every single book in the Library there more than twice. His heart’s desire was for his firstborn to be born in Oak Park, IL where Ernest Hemingway was (which I was) — and to have that child grow up to write and publish books. He passed away before I was able to — and so the money he left me I’m using some of it to publish Christian Children’s Books with. Dad would have truly enjoyed PAWPAW AND BOO...!
