About the Book

Once upon a time in a land not so far away, there was a fairy named Sophie. Poor Sophie had a problem. You see, she didn’t know what kind of fairy she wanted to be when she grew up. Not only that, Sophie would always fall asleep which made her choices difficult. Surprisingly, what once felt like a huge problem for Sophie, was actually her greatest gift. A talent that Sophie the very special Sleeping Fairy now shares with all those fairies and parents who want to help their kids fall asleep at night.

About the Author

Wende Datema, a graduate of Western Michigan University, was born and raised in Michigan. The proud mother of three loved reading to her children at night when they were little. Sadly, she found there weren’t many bedtime or tickle time stories. So, Wende created her own stories.

Animal Bridge has children begging to be tucked into bed at night with giggles and tickles mimicking animals crossing over the children’s bellies. Wende’s second book, Sophie the Sleeping Fairy, keeps them in it, making both books the perfect bedtime combination.
