A veritable collection of observations on everyday life and what it means to be human. Graham skilfully applies relevant teaching from the bible as it plays into the different observations and scenarios. The content provides advice and guidance on many everyday situations and combines unchanging biblical truths relevant to today's society whether this is recognised or not. The author invites the reader to develop their own 'Blog 52' and with helpful guidance steps, I as a reader was able to respond and develop my own Blog 52

Everyone has problems and readers are always looking for solutions. Blog 51 is a practical guide to everyday living with a Christian perspective and it can be referred to on a daily basis depending on what areas readers are looking for help for example finances, loss and health.

The topics covered in Blog 51 are pertinent and relatable to everyday life which is the main appeal to me as a reader and explained from a Christian point of view. The blogs are completely relevant to life today. I really like the chapter entitled 'Feeling' which in the current climate connects to peoples rates of anxiety and increased stress. I love the use of imagery throughout, the photos that illustrates points and the links to further reading.

Blog51 is a real handbook for life, firmly grounded in Christian principles and truth. The book’s user-friendly format provides practical solutions to many of the problems we currently face as a nation due to the Covid crisis and I would highly recommend it to Christians and non-Christians alike

My favourite section in Blog 51 is the section entitled Home. The blog rear view mirror has inspired me to write a letter to myself in January 2021, which I look forward to opening in January 2022, to see what has changed over that year.

Blog 51 continues to be a great source of inspiration and encouragement to me as I journey with Jesus. Graham Smallman has a great ability of taking simple every day situations and then bringing real insight and Godly wisdom from them. Blog 51 is one of those rare books that never stop challenging and encouraging you. No matter how many times you read it, it seems to speak to you from a different perspective every time. It's a book that I never get tired of reading and is perfect for morning reading and really does help to set your sites on the day ahead. I eagerly await Blog 52!
