About the Author

I have always been a great fan of fantasy stories.
I am not so sure if it comes from the fact that I am Latino, as Latinos are a very family-oriented people, or if it is just me, but I have always loved working with kids.
Their imagination fascinates me.
The way they create their monsters, the way they talk to their invisible
friends, and how sometimes it scares you or simply makes you laugh.
Whatever it is, I just love working with them.
Once I became a mother and an auntie of two very curious, spicy, and funny little boys, I just got this fixed idea that I would have to create something that I could put them together in an adventure somehow.
I have been paying very close attention to the way my nephew Bryan was taking care of his cousin Francesca (my daughter) and the idea of putting them together in a story was hitting my mind constantly so . . . I couldn’t let it go.
It was then when I decided to work on my first fantasy story, where I could bring their playfulness and curiosity all together and combined into something beautiful, intense and fun.
Meanwhile of course, at the same time I would be giving me the opportunity to work in something that I really enjoy doing, which is creating stories to be shared.
