About the Book

These poems are my big outlet in life and it is my first time to publish them.

My uncles and aunts are all short story writers and poets who have published their own books which became my inspiration for creating my own poems as well.

Writing gives me a sense of fulfillment, relating my personal experience through love and life.

I hope that my readers would be inspired and relate to the poems I wrote just as I was inspired by my family. I want them to be influenced through writing and creating poems that doesn't only satisfy our minds but quench our thirsty heart to assurance and beauty that words could make.

Another wonder that makes our living experience extra special.

About the Author

Roma Jenny “Muntazir”, as her pseudonym goes, was born on September 23, 1965 in India, in the village of Badesron, Hoshiarpur, Punjab. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1976. She always had a compassion for writing. However, English being her second language it was a struggle for her. But with effort she completed the book If Problems were Pigeons. She was inspired to write the poem The Walls of the Heart, after seeing a graffiti painted on the wall of the property where she worked at.

Her background is of a real estate conveyancer/receptionist. She treasures her time with all the children in the family especially her young and beautiful nieces and nephews.

Raised in Vancouver, she currently resides in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
