Chapter 4A David was in the wilderness of Judah and thirst for God. That was the only thing that would satisfy him. When you thirst for something, that is a strong desire or craving you have for something or someone. David while he was in the wilderness remembered seeing God’s Power and Glory in the Sanctuary. He had a strong desire to see God’s power and Glory once again. David knew he was in the wilderness, but his soul was thirsty for God. It is a hard thing to have experienced God’s power and Glory, and then go on in Life and forget about how you felt and what you have seen. So, David while he was in the wilderness and could not go to the sanctuary, he began to tell God, “My soul thirsteth for thee.” Today so many people are missing out on seeing God’s power and Glory in the church. They are content with the church operating as usual and giving old testimony of what God has done in the past. God is not just a God of yesterday, but God is a God of today and tomorrow.

About the Book
People today talk about the good old days. They look back in the past and marvel over the things God had done and how he used his people to do his will in the earth as instruments to work his power through performing miracles, signs, and wonders. The assumption is that God is not moving like that today. But they are wrong, and it is to this end that I’m writing this book to shed light on God’s expectation for his people now. The Bible states in Malachi 3:6, “For I am the Lord, I change not.” Hebrews 13:8 states, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to-day, and for ever.” When we search the scripture, we discover that God’s intent was not only to work miracles, signs, and wonders in the past, but his expectation is that we go forth today doing the same through his power, operating as modern world deliverers!
