About the Book

This memoir is a telling of a first generation bi-lingual Swedish-speaking American poet’s life journey. The title of the photograph is: “A Sunday sailing without wind,” circa 1900s from a book about Loftahammar, published in Västervik by the town’s historical society.

About the Author

Marion Palm is a retired educator, administrator, and octogenarian who enjoys writing poetry and encouraging people. She lives in one of the thirty original Finnish co-operatives circling Sunset Park in Brooklyn.
