About the Book

Love and Lethargy in the Information Age! is an alternating collection of stories and poems. Poems are minimalist but sometimes highly detailed. Stories are both short and long, including the longest at the end which might be the start of something new. Young adulthood to parenthood and middle age— this book covers many settings and themes. Yet love is everywhere with the emotional and physical fatigue that comes with it—love for people, car, bridge, river, kids, the coast, neighbors, animals, view out a window, etc. According to the author, the language aims to be very smooth, original, and true.

About the Author

G.T. Hogan was born in 1971 in New Haven, went to college in Boston, and has lived in Telluride, Newport RI, New Orleans, Baltimore, and the Mid-Atlantic's Eastern Shore. He has worn numerous hats including carpenter, cook, historical walking-tour guide, script writer, film location assistant, marketing manager, web designer, salesman, trucker, and most recently organic medicinal herb farmer. Today he lives with his life-partner, two dogs, an old cat, and has three older kids.
