About the Author

Dr Lemuel Davies Bray is an accomplished consultant urologist at Tema General Hospital, Ghana. He is a fellow of the West African College of Surgeons, FWACS. He had his surgical and urology residency training at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Accra, Ghana, and a graduate of the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. KNUST. He also holds a first class honours in law (LLB) from Central University College, Ghana. He is a member of the International Society of Urologist, SIU and the Ghana Association of Urological Surgeons, GAUS. Dr. Bray runs a busy urology practice at Tema General Hospital and works with colleague healthcare professionals towards expanding the frontier of urological services within Tema and its environs. He loves to teach and is actively involved in training of surgical residents, medical students, and allied health professionals. His penchant for knowledge acquisition is enormous. The author has published several articles on urological conditions in peer-reviewed journals, including the African Journal of Urology. Dr. Bray practices general urology with a particular interest in pediatric urology, endourology, prostate cancer treatment and reconstructive urological surgery. He also runs urology consultancy services in some private hospitals in Tema. He is married to Mrs. Diana Bray, and they have three children – Neal Kweku Bray, Nigel Yooku Bray, and Niandra Manza Bray. He is an avid adventurer and enjoys reading, writing, and playing tennis.
