About the Book

A provocative insight into the kids of the Age of Aquarius and the turgid fl ux of the 60s revolution. Sixties children were the fi rst latchkey kids since the Victorians, divorce era collateral damage and capitalism’s great experiment. Yet from their fractured beginnings this generation has emerged as a dynamic group of irreverent free thinkers. Paradoxically, Generation X success is juxtposed against a backdrop of ennui, guilt and frenetic ambition. Journey from gangs of straggly neighbourhood urchins on choppers to captains of industry and leaders of the free world. Explore how feminism f**ked the sisterhood and women have gone from hairy kaftan-clad activists to six-inch Louboutin shod, brazilianed cougars in one generation. Generation X has rewritten the script and herein lies their story.
