About the Book

The collection starts with The Now Time, a poem I wrote in an effort to comprehend Time in relation to Self, and to propose advice to myself and the world about the magic of living in the moment. The next poem, Image of Self, gives meaning to true Image development. Further on, I write of personal experiences in a creative story-telling style. I offer romance in The Nature of Love, while Heart and Soul also tells of three characters — Heart, Soul and Princess — and how they work out their differences. I wrote Destiny of Pain and Life of Pain while I was five months in hospital recovering from a near-fatal car accident. I touch on the spirit, as we know life can be a difficult journey. My collection offers insight and inspiration. I hope you enjoy the reading. My kind thoughts go out to you all.

About the Author

I was born in 1963 on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. I have two younger brothers and grew up playing lots of sport, eventually becoming a double international representative. With a lovely wife, daughter and grandson, I love to write about my experiences and reflect on life, what it has given me and what might be learned from it. My life has been an amazing journey of challenge and growth. Poetry is my passion. This little collection comes to you with all my love.
