About the Author

Chief Itchy Bum and Queen Snow Brown is Elmerrillia Treviranus’s first Children’s Play ever written. Those familiar with Samoa and German words will be delighted with its usage in this Play. Elmerrillia Treviranus who is of German Samoan descent was born in Samoa and migrated to New Zealand with her family at the age of Ten in 1982. She completed most of her schooling in New Zealand and has a BA in Linguistics. She gets her name from Elmerrillia papuana, a tree that grows in Papua New Guinea. It is so special that when the leaves fall they turn blue. She lives in Upper Hutt, Wellington, New Zealand.
