About the Book

Pia, the Story dog is a true story about the Story Dogs on the Tweed, who are specially trained to go into schools and listen to special children read. These children are helped to read as a dog is non-judgemental, and the child is comfortable reading to a loved dog and its handler.

About the Author

KATE KIDMAN was born in 1942 and spent her early years in Western Australia, working for many years as a trained nurse. She now lives in the Tweed Valley with her family and grandchildren.
