About the Book
There’s nothing like a little fishing town to fuel your love of food. I have recently become a resident of Port Lincoln SA, and have been wowed by the beautiful fresh produce that community sources from local farmers, fisherman, abboiter’s and wineries. The country lifestyle, scenery and the communities enthusiasm to look after one another has inspired me to write a cookbook, based on only sourcing what I can locally, as a member of the general public to support the businesses and communities of Port Lincoln and other parts of the ‘Eyre Peninsular’.
About the Author
The earliest memory I have of cooking was when I was 7.(my mum will argue it was 10) I loved being in the kitchen, by the time I was 14 I prepared all our evening meals. I tried a number of different careers after my schooling, and it wasn’t until I moved to the UK that I found my passion. Not just for cooking but for food! Since returning to Australia, I felt I’d lost sight of my passion. That was until I was introduced to Port Lincoln and the Lower Eyre Peninsular “then the rest”, as they say “is history“…..
