Kayley loves playing with her animal puzzle. So, mummy and daddy decided it was time to take her to the Wonderful Wild life Reserve. One morning, they packed lots of yummy food and went on a long drive. On the way, they noticed many camels. Kayley was excited to see them. “Where do camels live?” she asked. “Camels live in the Desert”, said daddy. “What do they eat? How do they live?” asked curious little Kayley. “They eat anything they find in the desert, such as plants and even twigs. They can also drink up to two hundred litres of water in three minutes and store it, because food and water is not always available in the desert,” said mummy.

About the Author

CAROLINE HASSETT grew up in various parts of the UAE. It was the birth of her little girl that inspired her to weave vivid stories that would be part of ‘The Kayley Series’. Caroline is now happily settled in Dubai. She spends her time baking with her daughter, reading, planning events, and learning new cultures. Her interest in social justice spurs her involvement in fundraisers, sponsoring children’s education, and campaigns for the welfare of labourers and construction workers in Dubai. A philanthropist at heart, Caroline will set aside AED 1 earned from every book sold. The proceeds will be sent to an orphanage in India.
