About the Book

“Is your boat capable of carrying us to shore” asked the light skinned man. “Of course, why do you think I have it otherwise” replied the boatman. “Now take us over to those rocks” “No” cried the boatman you will wreck my boat, but with the gun hard into his back he had no choice. It was the front door of the ranger’s house hanging open that led the storekeeper to disquiet; inside he found the bodies of the young woman and her son long dead from machine gun bullets, but it was the terrible sight of the ranger lying dead and chained to the foot of a tree that eventually brought the specialist team from London to investigate. An intense fast moving short story stretching over some 30 years. Passionately written about fate and capable of stirring the readers imagination by what is said or not said.
